Combat

Battles are always lurking. Most regions are open combat zones where PvP is enabled, but there are exceptions that create safe havens for those who need a moment of peace.

Zones

The entire map is, by default, a combat zone. This means players can PvP anywhere. However, there are a few important exceptions that can be qualified as a safe zone.

Realm territories

Your first Realm territory is always a safe territory, protecting your home from attacks. Additional territories unlocked later will begin as combat zones, though advanced technologies can turn them into safe territories if you wish. The in-game scoreboard indicates whether the territory you are in is safe or unsafe.

Inside your safe territories other players are not able to hit you, but you are able to hit them. However, if you hit another player you will both enter combat mode, meaning they can now hit you too.

Landmarks

Landmarks are generally also safe zones. You can access markets or quests without the fear of encountering another player. Some areas within them, such as Grottos or the Black Market, remain dangerous combat zones.

Combat mode

Once you engage in battle with another player, both of you enter combat mode. This lasts 30 seconds and resets with every hit exchanged. While in combat mode, certain restrictions apply This system ensures that fights are fair, exciting, and can’t simply be escaped by running or teleporting away.

  • You won't be able to use a lot of commands. For example, all forms of teleportation are disabled until the timer ends.

  • You cannot cross into a safe zone when you are in combat mode. Instead, a glass barrier will block your way until you’re free of combat.

  • If you leave the server while you're in combat, you will be killed and drop your items on the ground.
