§5 PvP & Wars
PvP
§5.1.1. Chase It is not allowed to log out while being chased. A situation counts as being chased when the pursuer is within a 50-block radius. Logging out is only allowed once you are in a safe place, such as your own Realm of when you're not within a 50-block radius from the pursuer.
§5.1.2. Border logout It is not allowed to log out inside the borders of another kingdom, unless the kingdom is officially an ally of your Realm or the Realm has given explicit permission.
§5.1.3. Loophole killing It is forbidden to kill players inside their own safe territories using loopholes, such as TNT cannons, flowing lava, or similar methods, from a position outside that border.
§5.1.4. Traps Traps may only be placed within the borders of your own Realm. The use of traps in the wilderness is forbidden.
Wars
Declaration
§5.2.1. Declaration period Each war requires a mandatory waiting period of 72 hours between declaration and the actual war.
§5.2.2. Maximum war declarations A Realm may declare a maximum of 3 wars per 7 days. You can also not declare more than 1 war on the same day.
§5.2.3. Rest period As a defender, a Realm can only fight a war once every 3 days. This means there should be at least 3 days between war declarations on the same Realm.
Participation
§5.3.1. Participation conditions To participate in a war, a player must have been a member of the Realm for at least 3 days, joined the Realm before the war declaration and have at least 12 hours of playtime.
§5.3.2. Alts Alts may not be used in wars. You may play in other kingdoms, but not join wars of other kingdoms with alts. Exception: Article 2.11 allows staff-approved exceptions via ticket.
Formalities
§5.4.1. Participants list The leader of both the attacking and defending Realm must create a ticket at least 1 hour in advance listing all participating players (including allies).
§5.4.2. Attacking participants The attacking side may not bring more players than the defending side.
§5.4.3. Agreements Agreements may be made in tickets between the attacking and defending party regarding the war. The staff will accept or deny those agreements. Some examples are allowing an additional player to join the war, allowing an ally to join the war when normally it is not permitted, rescheduling the war and abolishment of the wartime rule.
§5.4.4. Reschedule A war can only be rescheduled if an attempt is made at least 24 hours in advance to arrange a new date, and a valid reason is provided.
Battle
§5.5.1. Duration The duration of a war is calculated based on the number of participants, the amount of gear, and the amount of golden apples brought. By default, a war lasts 30 minutes. However, if more than 12 players participate, each carrying at least 2 full sets of armor and 32 golden apples, the war duration is extended to 60 minutes.
§5.5.2. Items Only the following items may be brought to war:
Weapons (sword, bow, crossbow, axe, trident, mace);
Armor;
Arrows;
Pickaxe;
Food;
Potions;
Shulkers;
XP bottles;
Totems;
Buckets of water, and lava.
§5.5.3. Leaving It is strictly forbidden to leave the game during a war. If disconnected, you must log back in within 2 minutes and provide a valid reason for leaving.
§5.5.4. Dishonoring conduct It is forbidden to:
Stay underground during the war;
Hide in trees or player-made structures;
Use skybases;
Not actively participate in combat;
Other dishonoring conduct.
Alliances
§5.6.1. Formation time Only alliances formed before the declaration of war may participate.
§5.6.2. Ally participation A maximum of 50% of participants on a war side can be players from allied Realms.
Rewards
§5.7.1. Honored A war is considered honored if the following conditions are met:
Both sides have at least 5 players;
Each participant has a diamond sword with at least the Sharpness V enchantment.
Each participant wears full diamond armor with Protection IV and Unbreaking III enchantments;
Each participant has at least 16 golden apples.
If a side does not show up, brings fewer than 5 players, or lacks proper gear, the war is not considered honored. The side that dishonors the war will receive a penalty.
§5.7.2. Keys Rewards may consist of Battle Keys and/or War Keys. The rewards are calculated based on the number of participating players, the amount of armor sets brought into the fight and the originality of the battle.
